A familiar name in Eastern North Carolina has joined the team of medical providers at Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center’s Murfressboro Primary Care. Dr. John Pickett, D.O. /M.B.A graduated with his Doctorate of Osteopathic and M.B.A from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pickett is Board Certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and American Osteopathic Association.

He has been practicing family medicine since 1999. Dr. Pickett worked in Philadelphia, PA as a Family Practitioner for two years and then moved to Windsor, NC where he practiced for five years. Pickett also worked in Rocky Mount as an independent practitioner for various medical practices.
