Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center (RCCHC) will officially break ground on a major medical clinic expansion Tuesday, August 9 in Colerain, NC.   RCCHC was awarded $1 million in capital funding by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) last year to substantially enhance its Colerain Primary Care Center.

Youth Wellness Academy a partnership with local schools and Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center recently worked throughout the semester to explore community conditions and developed a photographic list of top concerns facing youth in the community. The following images were taken by the student in Hertford County.  Some of them listed the positives in the area while others looked at ways they think things could be improved for better overall community health.
